Educational Goals

Working in organisations and programmes in the field of international cooperation not only calls for a high degree of professional expertise but also strong analytical, theoretical and communicative skills. Experts must be able to think systematically, work in complex contexts, and act flexibly and solution-oriented.

The aim of the study programme is to integrate students into the field of international cooperation and to equip them with the skills and experience they need to work successfully on sustainable development projects with partners in developing countries.

The post-graduate programme in 'International Cooperation for Sustainable Development' is designed to deliver these skills, both at the theoretical level and in their practical application. Apart from deepening their knowledge of current issues in development studies and strategies for sustainable development, students are given the opportunity to broaden their methodological skills and put them to the test.
