On 27 July 2024, the SLE community came together for a special reunion, marking three decades since the 32nd cohort began their journey. It was a day filled with nostalgia, laughter, and reflection, as three generations of SLE participants, staff, and team leaders gathered to reconnect.

The event was a vivid reminder of how much has changed over the years, yet some things remain timeless. Whether it’s writing on flipcharts or engaging in deep kitchen table conversations late into the night about topics like decolonization and the evolving culture of debate, the core of SLE’s spirit remains as strong as ever.
